However, hope is entertained, that
she is lying either, at Port Hedland
or Derby, as mariners who know the
coast thoroughly say that Captain Allen
would not think of making for Broome
in the gale, but would prefer to run out
to sea and come in at Derby.
An interesting thought, but did not pan out.
