DEATH THROUGH SHOCK.

Leader, 31 July, 1912.

DEATH THROUGH SHOCK.
Mr. William Crane, lately employed
as a warder in Bathurst Gaol, died in
St. Vincent's Hospital on Monday
morning, after a painful illness. About
Easter time, the deceased received the
news that his only son, Fred, had
gone down with the ill-fated steamer
Koombana, and since then his health
began to fail as a result of the shock.
The deceased leaves a widow and two
daughters, who reside at Peel-street,
Bathurst.
